A Sexual and Reproductive Health
(SRH) Non- Governmental Organization (NGO) is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for a full
time position who will be based at our Clinic located at Garden City, Raiwai. The nurse will play an
important role in the provision of care, diagnosis, treatment and the delivery of case that promotes
reproductive justice and Sexual Health within the scope of practice. The Nurse will play a key role in
reaching clinical targets set for the year by working collaboratively with the clinic team in the clinic
and with the program team in the communities to provide the best clinical services when needed.
Minimum Qualification:
• Must be a Fiji registered Nurse with a current practicing license.
• Be medically and physically fit.
• Has no criminal record.

Essential Criteria:
• Currently serving or possess at least 5 years’ experience as a Public Health Nurse with a
background knowledge and experience of Reproductive Health.
• Has Midwifery qualification and experience or Nursing Certificate in Reproductive Health.
• Able to provide health promotions/ prevention and treatment for clients in both static and
outreach programs.
• Experience in providing preventative care for women with reproductive age through
screenings on STI’s, Cancers, Depression and Domestic Abuse.
• Experience in providing cervical screening, insertion and removal of Intrauterine devices and
Implants.

• Excellent reporting skills and good experience in the use of MS Office software.

• Experience in commodities and supplies management

• Excellent communication skills and a team player.

• Ability to work with minimum supervision.

• Must have good communication skills and to possess a good command of spoken and
written English.

Desirable Criteria:

• Experience in teaching or clinical education in Sexual and Reproductive Health.

• Proven experience in working at community level especially with women and young people
and key affected populations.

• Ability and willingness to travel within and around Fiji to the communities.

• Driver’s License.

We are seeking a suitably qualified experienced candidate to join our team, based in Suva. 

 

Finance Manager 

The purpose of this position is to provide accounting and financial management support to RFHAF. 

You will have a degree qualification in Accounting and Finance, or equivalent with minimum 3 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in an NGO set-up.  Experience in Financial Project Management and managing multiple projects with the ability to generate analytical reporting for management programming decision.  Proficient in Microsoft applications.

The Nurse Practitioner will play a key role in reaching clinical targets set for the year by ensuring the smooth running of the clinic in conjunction with working with the program team in the communities to provide the best clinical services when needed. 

Minimum Qualification: 

  • Must be a Fiji registered Nurse Practitioner with a current practicing license.
